The NSW Liberals & Nationals Government has fulfilled another 100 Day Plan commitment with the commencement of an economic assessment of mining affected communities, Deputy Premier and Minister for Regional Infrastructure and Services Andrew Stoner announced today. Mr Stoner made the announcement during Question Time in Parliament today. Unlike Labor, the NSW Liberals & Nationals Government understands the additional stress that can be placed on local infrastructure, particularly roads, bridges and other local government funded infrastructure, from mining activity, Mr Stoner said. That is why prior to the election we announced a Resources for the Regions program to deliver local infrastructure for mining affected communitiesFile Size:
