Urban Taskforce’s previous Chair, Noel Hemmings QC, commented, “I have known Tony for many years and have admired his ability to run both a massive dairy and a booming development business. This award, of course, is for what he has achieved as a developer and there is no doubt that he has set very high standards for the development of new town centres and whole suburbs on the fringe of Sydney. I congratulate him on winning this award and for all he has achieved.”

According to Chris Johnson, Urban Taskforce CEO, “Tony Perich has prepared the groundwork for development around Badgery’s Creek airport through his extensive developments. As well as the housing estates Tony is developing the Central Hills Business Park and has developed the Narellan Town Centre which is a large shopping centre.”
